Crimean free trade area is enlarged due to maritime zone at the peninsula coast

 “Free trade area – territories of the Republic of Crimea and federal city of Sevastopol and adjoining to the Crimean territories and federal city of Sevastopol inner marine waters and closed sea of the Russian Federation, within the limits of which a special regime of entrepreneurial and other kinds of business activities is valid, as well as duty-free customs treatment”, says the law, published on the site of the State Duma.

The explanatory note to the adopted law says, that a new law will provide an opportunity for “transport infrastructure, yacht tourism, sailing development, cargo-and-passenger traffic organization and creating additional workplaces”. The law will allow, in particular, to use guidelines of the Duty Free zone for imported in Crimea marine vehicles, which is planned to be used in 12 miles coastal belt of the Crimean peninsula.
