The general director of the government corporation "Rostekh" Sergey Chemezov commented on the launch of "Kometa": "This is a serious step to improving the tourist attractiveness of the Crimea. And this is only the beginning, because hydrofoil ships have always been an important part of the transport system of our country. The Soviet Union was the world leader in the production of this type of transport, which was also exported. We associate great prospects with the revival of this production. Of course, there will be demand for new "Kometa" ships not only on the Russian market, but also abroad."
