Medvedev gave a number of instructions on the Crimea development

Russian Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev gave a number of instructions following the meeting on the socio-economic development of Crimea, which he held as part of a working visit to the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The head of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Patrushev should develop measures to stimulate the development of the agro-industrial complex of Crimea until September 25th. "The Ministry of agriculture of Russia jointly with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and the government of Sevastopol should develop measures aimed at stimulating the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Crimean Peninsula, and report on the results to the government of the Russian Federation. Deadline – the 25th of September 2018", — is stated in the instructions.

The Ministry of natural resources of the Russian Federation was instructed to create an interdepartmental working group on water supply of the Crimean Peninsula and other water-scarce regions. It should consist of representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Rosatom State Corporation, the Russian Academy of Sciences and interested subjects of the Russian Federation. "Within the framework of this working group to develop and present a program to address the issues of water shortage in the subjects of the Russian Federation. The results should be reported to the government of the Russian Federation until September 10th 2018," the document says.

Besides the Federal Executive authorities, as well as the Council of Ministers of Crimea and the government of Sevastopol were instructed to "take comprehensive measures to unconditionally fulfill the obligations to implement the measures of the Federal Target Program within stipulated deadline."
