Oleg Garkusha, a famous Russian musician, singer, poet and showman, member of the "Auktzyon" music band and head of Saint-Petersburg public charitable foundation for the youth culture development "Garkundel", has visited the office of The Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) Foundation in Yalta.
During the meeting with Sergey Lazutkin, the General Director of company Proxy Centre and founder of the YIEF Foundation, opportunities for cooperation between the two foundations were discussed, and the decision was taken to implement joint projects in culture.
"The YIEF Foundation traditionally pays attention to the field of arts – last year, performances of the ballet company of one of the leading ballet masters of the world Oleg Vinogradov were held in Crimea with the participation of the Foundation, and director Sergey Debizhev brought his documentary "A Hellish Chaos" to Crimea, which analyzes the reasons of the October Revolution. We expect that cooperation with Oleg Garkusha will allow organizing music performances of both legends of Russian rock and young performers in Crimea", - said the General Director of Proxy Centre after the negotiations.
Oleg Garkusha, for his part, said that cooperation will enter the active phase after the opening of the "Garkundel" art center in St. Petersburg. "We are completing preparations for the opening of the art space, almost everything is ready. We expect that the art center will become a point of attraction for creative youth from many regions of Russia, including Crimea," - said the musician.
