Ministry of Economy of Crimea observes a growing interest in the supply of goods to the peninsula

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea notes the increased interest of companies in the supply of goods to the peninsula, which is associated with simplified logistics and reduced costs due to the opening of freight traffic on the bridge across the Kerch Strait.

“Before the beginning of the functioning of freight traffic through the Crimean bridge, there was an increase in the interest of enterprises from other regions to supply the territory of the republic. The development of the competition in the republic is expected by increasing the flow of entrepreneurs from the mainland of the Russian Federation, which, as a result, will have a positive effect on the price situation on the food market in the Republic of Crimea,” the ministry’s press service said.

The launch of the traffic of freight transport and the railway part of the bridge will lead to price lowering and availability of goods necessary for the needs of the agro-industrial complex of Crimea and have a positive effect on the provision of the republic by building materials.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic noted that with the launch of the railway line of the Crimean bridge a decrease in prices for fuel products by 0.70-1.0 rubles per liter is expected. At the same time, due to the services of the Crimean Railway, retail prices in Crimea will exceed the prices for fuel in the Krasnodar Krai by 1.0-1.5 rubles per liter.
