"The Golden ring of the Bosporus Kingdom" is a tourist route to the places where the cities of the ancient state were located in ancient times. The route includes 10 cities located on the territory of four regions — Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea, Rostov region, the city of Sevastopol.
The regatta, whose route will pass along the black sea coast with stops in the cities, keeping the memory of the ancient heritage – Torik (Gelendzhik), Gorgipia (Anapa), Pantikopey (Kerch), Yalta, Chersonesos (Sevastopol), will unite yachtsmen and lovers of sea travel from all over Russia.
Participants will enjoy an exciting sailing competition, day and night crossings across the Black and Azov seas, accommodation on a real cruising yacht and visit the amazing ancient monuments of culture.
In addition, for the first time the single opening of the holiday season in the format of the festival "Golden ring of the Bosporus Kingdom" will take part in the South of Russia. "For the first time the project presents Russia as one of the unique centers of ancient culture and civilization at the international arena", — the coordinator of the tour route "Golden ring of the Bosporus Kingdom" Christopher Constantinidi notes.
The concept of the route, which is able to link together historical objects of the ancient period, located in the South-Eastern part of the Crimea, on the lands of Taman, Abrau Peninsula and partly in the Kuban region, was first presented in the spring of 2018 in the framework of the IV Yalta International Economic Forum.
