Crimea and South Ossetia will conclude an agreement on cooperation on the sidelines of the V Yalta International Economic Forum, which will be held on April 18-20, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian region - permanent representative of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov noted.
"An agreement between the Republic of Crimea of the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation is planned," – Mr. Muradov noted.
He noted that the Crimea will share South Ossetia its experience in development of agriculture, in particular viticulture, and in the organization of processing of agricultural products. "Our South Ossetian colleagues are interested in the development of viticulture, they have excellent conditions for the development of this direction. Probably, they will want to learn from the experience, learn our ideas for the development of viticulture and winemaking", - the Agency interlocutor said.
According to him, representatives of South Ossetia may also be interested in the experience of the Crimea in the processing of essential oil crops, from which substances for the cosmetic and perfume industry are obtained. "Our findings are very interesting for South Ossetia. We can also assist in the field of education and training of students in the field of culture", - Mr. Muradov said.
In addition, the Republic plans to develop the tourism sector. "We are waiting for the residents of South Ossetia in Crimea, soon it will be possible to get here by rail from Vladikavkaz," - the Ambassador said.
The delegation from South Ossetia took part at the Yalta International Economic Forum a year ago, when the President of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov and the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov signed a Protocol on bilateral trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian cooperation. It was the first document on cooperation between South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea. Mr. Aksyonov announced that the signing of the Protocol will be followed by the signing of a cooperation agreement.
