Foreign investors intend to build hotels and ethnic villages in Crimea

Chairman of the Committee on health resort and tourism of the state Council of the Republic Aleksey Chernyak noted that investments in the construction of hotels can amount to 1 billion rubles.

Investors from abroad are interested in the construction of ethnic villages, the development of rural (green) tourism in the Crimea, this topic will also be discussed during the V Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF), Chairman of the Committee on sanatorium and resort complex and tourism of the state Council of Republic of Crimea Aleksey Chernyak said.

"Foreign investors who intends to invest in ethnic villages, rural and green tourism will participate. In the West, it is very popular, and we are still poorly developed, and here you can be the first. We have something to offer. This topic will be discussed at the Yalta International Economic Forum," – Mr. Chernyak said.

According to him, in addition to this type of tourism, investors are interested in the possibility of building large hotels, investments in which can amount to 1 billion rubles.

The Head of the Committee added that the authorities of the Republic can allocate about 100 such sites for potential investors.
