The Ministry of Economic Development of Crimea has drafted 25 agreements and memoranda to be signed at the Yalta International Economic Forum, which will be taking place from 20 to 22 April, said Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea Anna Kovalenko.
The list of drafted documents includes three investment agreements on the implementation of projects in Crimea, three investment memoranda, a cooperation agreement with the Kurchatov Institute, Opora Rossiy, Industry Development Fund, and Social Sphere Investment Agency. Furthermore, it is planned that on the sidelines of the Forum, a cultural cooperation agreement will be signed between Yalta and Italy’s Rovigo.
This year, interest in the Forum has grown considerably stronger, including from Crimean business. There were several times more applications for participation in YIEF from local entrepreneurs than expected. Therefore, in the course of the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Forum on 14 April, Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov ordered to double the quota for Crimean entrepreneurs to 300.
More than 1,500 participants are expected at the third edition of YIEF this year, from more than 40 countries.
