New industrial technologies. Opportunities for Crimea

Integration of Crimea and Sevastopol industries into national technological chains is the Region’s key task. The federal government and state corporations are applying substantial efforts to this end. Yet people are often unaware of or reject the full complex of such measures on the peninsula. The aim of this meeting is to have a frank discussion of the measures that would bring the Region’s industry into the Russian national complex.
The problem, however, has a technological, as well as an organizational, aspect. Industry is changing dramatically as modern computer modelling, additive technologies and customised production by new methods come to play an ever growing role. Russia has research teams and companies developing and applying such solutions. Even so, the conservative part of the industrial community is often ill-informed about new trends and is unprepared to face the fact that it is becoming less and less competitive. It is vital for Crimean enterprises to keep abreast of the latest trends in industrial technologies in and outside Russia if they are to be more effective and competitive on the Russian and world markets and to become integrated into the supply chain of major Russian corporations.

IT Security Solutions of the Future Energy Production

The energy of the emerging 6th technological cycle of the world economy will be built on cyber physical systems in which a human operator will be replaced by a system with elements of artificial intelligence ensuring the processing of "big data" and making solutions in real time.
The construction of such cyber physical systems will require the digitalization of all energy facilities and systems, as well as a new approach to ensure their safety which requires a "trusted environment" and ensures the preventive nature of safety provision.
"Digitalization of the energy sector" and the creation of a "trusted environment" means the necessity to apply the domestic element base of cyber physical systems, certified basic and applied software. The prevention character of safety systems requires creation of solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. And the requirement of competitiveness of cyber physical systems being created obliges their developers to target the global market.
The transition to cyber physical systems in the management of energy facilities will require the creation of specialized engineering centers which will be dealing with processing of solutions on a new element base, creation of prototypes of the trusted environment and testing of applications based on them. Crimea is a natural place to apply forces for the development and testing of the "trusted environment" elements for cyber physical systems.

Human Resources and Educational Technologies for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

A balanced personnel approach in Russia as well as in near and far-abroad countries provides a high effective result in labor migration policies for all member countries.
The important role of education in the success of SMEs, especially in the area of risk mitigation for managers, owners, investors and government authorities of member countries, in cooperation with SMEs.
The future of education lies in the personification and individual educational path. We need to give a person fundamental knowledge and at the same time teach him those things which he can use in his enterprise's activity. Education is an investment in oneself, and any investment must be paid back: if a person invests in education, the applicable results must be obtained at once.
Modern IT technologies in education are more than just moving a "teacher" from one point to another. They allow to collect and analyze the progress of each learner, to identify working education methodologies, and to determine efficiency of the educational process for a particular student accurate to each minute of a lesson.

Construction is one of the most dynamic and promising sectors of the economy. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian construction industry has every opportunity to become one of the key drivers of the country’s economic growth and investment appeal. An effective construction industry not only impacts the economy, but also creates jobs, a comfortable and safe urban environment, technological growth, and a favourable investment climate. Thus, the main development potential of any region is concentrated in the construction industry. The industry’s strategic goal is to realize this potential, while the tactical goal is to build productive relations between the government, business, and investors. How can we establish a dialogue and transition to the comprehensive development of territories?
